Bracebridge Town councillors will get a look at a proposed condo development during next week’s Planning and Development Committee meeting.
The development is being proposed by Hall Development Group and is planned for Dandelion Lane, which is located in the area of Bracebridge informally known as the Covered Bridge subdivision.
The developer is seeking an official plan amendment and a zoning by-law amendment to facilitate the construction of eight, three-storey buildings containing 85 condo units.
According to a Town staff report, the subject lands are approximately 2.7 acres in area with 50 feet of frontage on Keall Crescent and 462 feet of frontage along an unopened road allowance which runs in an east-west direction between Balls Drive and Keall Crescent.
The property currently has a dwelling and detached garage that are vacant and in disrepair. The dwelling and garage are located on a high point of land that overlooks the Balls Flats area.
The committee will consider the proposal at Town Hall at 2:30 on Feb. 5.
