Bi-weekly garbage collection begins Oct. 30, 2023

Residents are reminded that garbage collection winter hours take effect October 30. That means that depending on your route, garbage will be collected every two weeks with a two bag limit (75L bags) if you have green bin services, and a four bag limit (two bags per week) if you don’t have green bin collection. Garbage bags must not exceed 25 kg / 55 lbs.

Residents with curbside collection can set out one extra garbage bag on your regular collection day the week of Family Day, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, the Civic holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas day.

    Does this mean more dumping by the side of roads? Bureaucrats believe that garbage magically disappears on its own. Toronto solutions for Muskoka. Green bins designed to be easily opened for raccoon take out and food buffet for local animals. Seems the wildlife vote bureaucrat.
