As the holiday season arrives, Timberbeast Productions is set to bring back a timeless classic with a Gravenhurst twist.
Beginning Dec. 7, A Gravenhurst Christmas Carol will take guests on a journey back in time and through the streets of town as part of this one-of-a-kind experience.
Timberbeast specializes in making Muskoka-centric theatrical productions – in this case, a re-imagination of Charles Dickens’s classic novel in a fully immersive setting.
“Witness this place that you are in, If you listen closely you can hear the stories that came before us,” reads the tagline. “The people who cared for this place before we used it for ourselves. We have forgotten the lessons. We have lost the thread of the teachings…. so….tonight we wander. Tonight, we bear witness.”
The show takes place Dec. 7, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 16 and 17 at 7PM at various locations throughout the Town of Gravenhurst.
On December 10 a benefit performance takes place at Trinity United Church in Gravenhurst at 7 pm (fully accessible).
Partial proceeds will be donated to Gravenhurst Against Poverty.
