| Autumn has arrived and so has the annual Muskoka Lakes Association Food Drive. Each year the MLA normally rotate donations between three of the largest food banks in Muskoka; Mana, West Muskoka and The Salvation Army, but this year they will be supporting all three. The MLA will have one drop-off bin this year and it will be in a secured location inside the MLA office, located at 65 Joseph Street in Port Carling. They encourage the public place non-perishable food items in the bin and the MLA will bring them to the West Muskoka Food Bank. Should you choose to donate online, any money donated to the food banks will be used to purchase much needed foods.
