Monck Public School in Bracebridge is reporting another case of covid-19 among the student body.

On Wednesday evening, the school issued a letter to parents stating the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) had advised them that a person in the school community has tested positive for COVID-19.

A case of covid was previously reported at the school on September 20.

The letter to parents reads:

“If your child is a close contact of a person who tested positive for COVID-19, you would have received another communication prior to this letter letting you know that your child is a close contact, with directions that you must follow. If you did not receive a letter from the health unit, your child has not been identified as a close contact. In this case, your child can continue to go to school if they pass their daily COVID-19 School Screening.”
