Passed away on Monday April 14, 2025, in his 88th year at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville. Beloved husband of the late Josie. Loving father of John (Andrea) of Caledon, Michelle of North Vancouver, BC. Dear Grandfather of Lee Anne (Sasa), Bradley (Melanie), Ashley (Ben), Jessica (Elvis). Great Grandfather of Jayden, Mila, Oaklen, Nikola, Scarlett, Eli, Maple Joe, Chloe, Douglas & Luka. Loved brother of Jean Backus and Jack Backus (Lee).
The family will receive friends at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N, Orillia on Saturday April 26, 2025 from 11am – 1pm followed by a short service and refreshments. Interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Orillia.
