Bears mark Autism Awareness Night with special guest

From the Muskoka Bears Junior C Hockey Club:

The Muskoka Bears took a hard hit on Saturday night, suffering a 10-1 defeat to the Penetang Kings at home.

Though the game didn’t go as hoped, the evening had a powerful, uplifting moment when Autism Advocate Matt Saddler took the mic for Autism Awareness Night. Saddler’s stirring rendition of the national anthem captivated the crowd, drawing applause and support that echoed through the arena.

Matt’s performance was the highlight of the night, bringing a sense of unity and purpose that extended far beyond the final score.

Goal:

Owen VanDusen (Ryder Hergaarden, Aiden MacDonald)

The Bears are back in action next Sunday, November 10th at home, against the Midland Flyers, puck drop at 2:00pm.
