Bears shelled by Stayner Siskins on Fire Responders’ Night

From the Muskoka Bears Junior C Hockey Club:

The Muskoka Bears faced a tough night on home ice, falling to the Stayner Siskins in a lopsided 9-0 defeat during a game dedicated to honouring our local heroes.

Despite the on-ice struggles, the Bears organization proudly celebrated First Responders Night, welcoming special guests Mgr. Darcy Medland of the Muskoka Ambulance Service, Kevin Plested, Chief Fire Prevention Officer, and Provincial Constable James Reading of the Ontario Provincial Police.

While the scoreboard wasn’t in the Bears’ favour, the evening highlighted the importance of community, as fans rallied to show their appreciation for the courage and dedication of our first responders, and their loyalty to our Muskoka Bears Junior C Hockey Club.
