Photos posted this morning on social media show damage to the exterior of the Bracebridge Falls Generating Station just below the Silver Bridge in Bracebridge Bay.

The Bracebridge Falls GS has been in service since 1902. In 2010 the current upgrades were done, which included water passage of the plant, penstock and intake were demolished and a new 2.9 MW double regulated Kaplan turbine carefully installed under the existing buildings at a cost of $11,000,000.
