Bracebridge Woman Fined, Banned From Driving After Impaired Driving Guilty

A Bracebridge woman has been fined and banned from driving for a year after pleading guilty to an impaired driving offence stemming from a Highway 11 traffic stop earlier this year.

Alana Rogers, 38, woman has pleaded guilty to impaired driving in a Bracebridge courtroom.

Court heard that on May 24, 2025, just before 7 p.m., Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of concerning driving on Highway 11 North. A member of the public reported a vehicle tailgating and swerving in and out of traffic lanes.

Police located the vehicle a short time later travelling south on Highway 11 and conducted a traffic stop. As a result of the investigation, officers arrested and charged Rogers.

Rogers was sentenced to a $2,500 fine and received a 12-month driving prohibition.
