After 12 years of operating out of one of Bracebridge’s most prominent locations, Bliss Boutique is closing its doors this September.

The women’s clothing store made the announcement this morning via the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce.

The Bliss Boutique is independently owned and operated out of the former site of the Queen’s Hotel at the corner of Taylor Road and Manitoba Street.

In their announcement, the owners said the closure stems from a health issue:

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce that  Bliss Boutique will be closing in September.  Whether you have been a loyal customer from the beginning or someone who has just discovered how amazing the shop is, your support over the last 12 years has been so greatly appreciated!

Although this message will come as a shock to many; please know that the decision was not made in haste, but due to the declining health of our founder Liz, it is a necessary step.

Starting Wednesday, June 29th, all regular merchandise will be marked down 25%.  As all of our summer stock has now arrived, make sure to hurry in for the best selection!  The backroom is full to bursting so please take your time to have a look in there as well.

It will be wonderful to see all of you for one final summer of fabulous shopping!

Many thanks for making Bliss Boutique the success that it is today,

Liz & Miranda“
