Community invited to enjoy the last skate of the season at the Muskoka Lumber Arena

The Town of Bracebridge invites residents and visitors to lace up for the Last Skate of the season, taking place on Sunday, April 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Muskoka Lumber Arena. This free, family-friendly event is the perfect opportunity to hit the ice one final time and celebrate a great season together.

In addition to public skating, the afternoon will feature a variety of games and activities for all ages, making it a fun outing for the whole community.

Last Skate of the Season
Sunday, April 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Muskoka Lumber Arena, 56 Salmon Avenue

Schedule of activities

  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. – Public Skate (all ages, helmets recommended)
  • 12 to 2 p.m. – Visit from Sparky the Fire Dog and Buddy the Lifeguard Dog
  • 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. – Ice Games and Activities (no skates; helmets mandatory)
    • Ice Painting (all ages)
    • Human Bowling (all ages)
    • Keg Curling (ages 15 and up)

Residents are encouraged to bring their friends and family and take part in this exciting end-of-season event. Helmets are required for all on-ice games. Free popcorn and hot chocolate will be available courtesy of Brews & Bites.
