Percent positivity (for the week ending Jan. 9):
Percent positivity represents the percentage of completed COVID-19 tests that are positive for the COVID-19 virus, over a defined period of time. A low percent positivity rate indicates the outbreak is under control, given more testing is finding a smaller proportion of positives.
