Dockside and Muskoka Music Festival return Aug 18-20

Two great events – one Muskoka summer weekend.

The  Dockside Festival of the Arts and Muskoka Music Festival recently announced that they’ll be returning to Gravenhurst on the weekend of Aug. 18 -20.

The festivals will run concurrently and are admission by donation at the Gravenhurst Wharf, with a ticketed Opera House headliner show on Saturday, August 19th.

Organizers said artist announcements for the Muskoka Music Festival are coming soon but in the past the show has hosted such acts as Jim Cuddy Family Band, Royal Wood and the Sadies.

Dockside Festival of the Arts, since 1991, is a celebration of summer in Gravenhurst with artisans, gourmet food, music, family fun, and more. It takes place at Muskoka Wharf Special Event Park.

This is the seventh year of the Muskoka Music Festival and organizers say they have now brought over 125 artists/bands to Gravenhurst.
