Diamonds AKxx
Clubs xx

Case 1: Your LHO opens One Heart. Partner Overcalls One Spade. You know partner probably is not wealthy in values but you can help out with your nine points. Bid Two Spades.

Case 2:
Spades xxxx
Hearts AQx
Diamonds xx
Clubs Jxxx

Case 2: Your LHO opens One Spade. Partner Overcalls Two Hearts. With seven points and three good Hearts, you are happy to bid Three Hearts.

Case 3:

Clubs xxxx

Case 3: Your LHO opens One Club. Partner Overcalls One Diamond. You have a poor supporting hand with only seven points. Just PASS.
