Almaguin Choral Society presents “Sing the World Better” – a Benefit Concert to support Ukraine
Formed in 1989, The Almaguin Choral Society has annually been performing 2 concert series – one at Christmas and one in June. As well the choir performs in various community activities for special civic occasions and among other things, proudly offers scholarships to area graduating students who plan to continue their studies in the arts.
This concert is a Benefit Gala titled “Sing the World Better” is in support of the Ukraine. A portion of every ticket sold will support United24, Medical Aid. This gala performance will feature songs with the themes of friendship, love, working together and peace. We know this is a cause close to the hearts and minds of many of us in the Almaguin Area.
