This calendar is reserved for non-commercial local community events. What does that mean? Your event must be free or of nominal cost, available to anyone (although adult-only events are fine), and not for profit. (We do make exceptions for artists showing their work who would profit from any sales made and musicians hosting small-scale concerts). Not sure if your event fits? Drop us a line at [email protected] to check, or go ahead and submit anyhow – submissions are moderated and we will approve yours if it fits our criteria. Thanks for helping make Muskoka a vibrant community!
Families can participate in various free activities including archery, outdoor survival skills workshops covering fire and shelter building, guided tours, low ropes challenges, salamander hunting, and classic campfire treats like s’mores. These activities are designed to provide wholesome entertainment for all ages while fostering a deeper connection with nature and outdoor adventures.
In addition to the complimentary activities, families can enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch available for a suggested donation of $25 per family. The proceeds from the day will go directly towards supporting the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka Campership Fund, ensuring that more children from the Muskoka region can attend local Muskoka summer camp and create lasting memories.
For those seeking an extra thrill, Camp Muskoka will also offer access to its exhilarating aerial park and zip line experience for $75 per person. All proceeds from the aerial park and zip line activities will also be donated to the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka, further contributing to the cause.
