This calendar is reserved for non-commercial local community events. What does that mean? Your event must be free or of nominal cost, available to anyone (although adult-only events are fine), and not for profit. (We do make exceptions for artists showing their work who would profit from any sales made and musicians hosting small-scale concerts). Not sure if your event fits? Drop us a line at [email protected] to check, or go ahead and submit anyhow – submissions are moderated and we will approve yours if it fits our criteria. Thanks for helping make Muskoka a vibrant community!

Canada’s Heroes

Canada’s Heroes
presented by Theatre Muskoka, The Muskoka Concert Band with Special Guests The Muskoka Men of Song
Saturday November 8, 2025 @2:30PM
Join us at the Rene Caisse Theatre on November 8th for Canada’s Heroes, a benefit concert for The Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund, honouring those who have served and sacrificed for our country. Experience powerful performances by the Muskoka Concert Band, under the direction of Fran Harvey, and the inspiring voices of the Muskoka Men of Song, directed by Francis Balodis. Together, they will fill the theatre with moving tributes that celebrate courage, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit of Canada’s heroes.
