Your event must be free or of nominal cost, available to anyone (although adult-only events are fine), and not for profit. (We do make exceptions for artists showing their work who would profit from any sales made and musicians hosting small-scale concerts). Not sure if your event fits? COTTAGE COUNTRY COMEDY FESTIVAL

Cottage Country Comedy Festival is a truly homegrown Muskokan experience featuring the best headlining comedians and rising talent from around the world. Currently celebrating its 15th year of operation, the festival has become a tourism staple working with many top resorts, communities, venues, sponsors, and media partners in the region. With media that reaches millions worldwide, Cottage Comedy connects communities with unique high-end comedy experiences, and has become an annual favorite of both cottagers, out of town visitors, and locals alike. Founded by local stand-up comedian Tyler Morrison, the family run festival has evolved from a 2-night event into a multi- production event spanning several weekends throughout the year, programming recordings of comedy specials, albums, and internationally acclaimed podcasts for live audiences right in the heart of Muskoka.
