You are here: Home / Events / Fire and Ice Night at Arrowhead skating trail

This calendar is reserved for non-commercial local community events. What does that mean? Your event must be free or of nominal cost, available to anyone (although adult-only events are fine), and not for profit. (We do make exceptions for artists showing their work who would profit from any sales made and musicians hosting small-scale concerts). Not sure if your event fits? Drop us a line at matt.driscoll@doppleronline.ca to check, or go ahead and submit anyhow – submissions are moderated and we will approve yours if it fits our criteria. Thanks for helping make Muskoka a vibrant community!

Arrowhead’s Fire & Ice Nights, held on various dates in January and February (weather depending), see the skating trail lined with blazing Tiki torches and are the park’s most popular events of the season. The midweek events on Thursdays tend to be less busy but no less spectacular. Here’s the schedule, but be sure to check the park’s ski report or Twitter feed @arropark for updates before you go. Expect delays on weekends and holidays due to volume.

  • Monday, December 31, 2018, 6-9 p.m.

Admission to the park is $17 per vehicle, providing guests with a full-day pass. Arrowhead Provincial Park also offers 33 km of cross-country ski trails, as well as snowshoeing and a tubing hill. For safety reasons, tubing enthusiasts are required to use the provided tubes and are not permitted to bring or use their own sleds. Cross-country skis and snowshoes are also available for rental at the park office.
