This calendar is reserved for non-commercial local community events. What does that mean? Your event must be free or of nominal cost, available to anyone (although adult-only events are fine), and not for profit. (We do make exceptions for artists showing their work who would profit from any sales made and musicians hosting small-scale concerts). Not sure if your event fits? Drop us a line at [email protected] to check, or go ahead and submit anyhow – submissions are moderated and we will approve yours if it fits our criteria. Thanks for helping make Muskoka a vibrant community!

This exhibition will showcase quilts as works of art. Dale has studied with master artist, Nancy Crow since 2011 and chose to become a full time artist in 2018. While recognition of quilts as an arts medium has advanced significantly in recent years, Canada lags far behind in providing opportunities for quilt artists to display their work. I grew up in Bracebridge. My childhood shaped my interest in art, especially with exposure to the artists of Muskoka Arts & Crafts. It would be a privilege for me to have the opportunity to display my work in the Chapel Gallery.
