This calendar is reserved for non-commercial local community events. What does that mean? Your event must be free or of nominal cost, available to anyone (although adult-only events are fine), and not for profit. (We do make exceptions for artists showing their work who would profit from any sales made and musicians hosting small-scale concerts). Not sure if your event fits? Drop us a line at matt.driscoll@doppleronline.ca to check, or go ahead and submit anyhow – submissions are moderated and we will approve yours if it fits our criteria. Thanks for helping make Muskoka a vibrant community!

MUSKOKA ARTS & CRAFTS’ SUMMER SHOW – ONLINE
July 16, 2021 @ 8:00 am - August 14, 2021 @ 5:00 pm

For the second year in a row, Muskoka Arts & Crafts has cancelled its annual Summer Show that was to take place this summer from July 16 to 18 at Annie Williams Memorial Park in Bracebridge. In making this decision, Muskoka Arts & Crafts’ first and foremost priority was for the safety and health of its artists, volunteers, customers, service providers, staff and community as well as to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and its variants.
This year’s 59th Annual Summer Show will be held in the MAC Online Shop beginning on July 16 and running for four weeks until August 14. People will be able to browse the art available for sale, read stories about how and why it was made, and make those special purchases that financially support artists, all from the comfort of their homes or cottages.
