Be a Scientist for a Day
Join the Canadian Wildlife Federation and SCALES Nature Park for this year’s Muskoka Turtle Blitz, a fun-filled free family event that lets you get actively involved in the science of conserving Muskoka’s turtles.
Explore the marsh in search of at-risk turtles, measuring, marking and counting all the turtles found in the area. Catch and release wild turtles and contribute to the scientific study of turtles as part of the East Ontario Turtle Project.
BRING: Light-weights clothes, water shoes, hat, water bottle
