You are here: Home / Events / Port Sydney / Utterson Municipal All Candidates Public Meeting

This calendar is reserved for non-commercial local community events. What does that mean? Your event must be free or of nominal cost, available to anyone (although adult-only events are fine), and not for profit. (We do make exceptions for artists showing their work who would profit from any sales made and musicians hosting small-scale concerts). Not sure if your event fits? Drop us a line at matt.driscoll@doppleronline.ca to check, or go ahead and submit anyhow – submissions are moderated and we will approve yours if it fits our criteria. Thanks for helping make Muskoka a vibrant community!

The Port Sydney/Utterson & Area Chamber of Commerce is giving members of the public an opportunity to hear from local candidates in the upcoming Huntsville Municipal Election.

On Thursday, Sept. 27, there is a public meeting to hear from Stisted, Stephenson and Port Sydney – Ward 3, 4 and 5 candidates. The meeting takes place at the Port Sydney Community Hall from 7 to 9 p.m.

Questions will not be taken from the floor. The Chamber is asking anyone wishing to ask questions to submit them in advance before Friday, September 14. A committee will curate and group similar questions. This is to allow as many questions as possible.

Email your questions prior to the event to: info@portsydneycoc.com.

All candidates meetings are an excellent way to help voters decide which candidates are most aligned with their values and deserving of their vote.
