The Muskoka Bears had just one game on their schedule this past weekend, and it was a tight contest that ultimately slipped away.
Defenceman Jacob Medeiros recorded an impressive four assists, but it wasn’t enough as the Bears’ late comeback fell short in a 6–5 loss to the Stayner Siskins.
Despite battling back into the game, Muskoka couldn’t complete the rally before time expired. The loss drops the Bears to another tough setback in a tightly contested stretch of their season.
The Bears now sit sixth of the eight in the PJHL North Carruthers Division with a record of 6-15-2.
The team will now have some time to regroup, as they are off until Friday, Dec. 12, when they return home to host the Penetang Kings.
