The Three Fires International Film Festival (3FIFF) invites the community to a free screening of A Brother’s Bond on October 10th at 7:30 PM at the Muskoka Foundry following the opening ceremony at 7:00.
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Braydon Langford, this touching story explores the healing journey of two estranged brothers who, after the tragic loss of their father, must set out on a series of adventures to restore their bond before receiving their inheritance. A Brother’s Bond delves into the power of familial ties and the journey to reconciliation.
Director Braydon Langford has earned recognition for his work on award-winning short films, including I Loved Her First, and has upcoming projects such as Darker Than Night and Darker Than Night 2: Last Rite. His directorial vision for A Brother’s Bond brings an emotional story of sibling dynamics to life. Braydon Langford is a Director and Producer from Drayton Valley, Alberta, currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The festival continues October 11th and 12th with a series of screenings and filmmaker panels.
On October 11th at 7:30 is the screening of Flyback, about the Fight to Protect the Amazon Rainforest, followed by a discussion with the film’s director Reynaldo Antonio Morales. Flyback has already gained international recognition and awards since its release to the festival circuit this year, including being an award winner at the Vancouver International Film Festival and Cannes World Film Festival. The evening will conclude with a live performance by The Poets, featuring a tribute to The Tragically Hip at 9:30.
