This year’s second place Founders Choice Awards winner and recipient of $10,000 was Gravenhurst-based Stepping Stone Early Learning Academy Ltd.

Stepping Stone Early Learning Academy Ltd. offers an innovative program that encourages children to excel through creativity, nature-based programs, and academic games.

“All of our staff have worked so hard to bring you the best childcare programs in Muskoka, and winning this award has been such a wonderful acknowledgment of their dedication to the community,” read a post from Stepping Stones. “Thank you Muskoka Founders for recognizing the importance of our educators in enriching the lives of our community’s youngest citizens.”

The Founders Choice Awards are given annually to local entrepreneurs whose start-up businesses are deemed to have the greatest potential to grow, be profitable, add local jobs, and contribute to the local economy.
