Gravenhurst Council wants increased use of speed cams


Gravenhurst council passed a resolution on June 20, calling on the province to allow municipalities to locate automated speed enforcement cameras permanently or temporarily on any road under municipal jurisdiction.

These devices are limited to community and school safety zones.

    I would love to see Speed enforcements cameras on Muskoka Rd. South. This is because I walk to get to establishments along Muskoka Rd. South, and drivers are using excessive speeds(Major HWY) speeds. I feel unsafe and want to see the cameras up soon! Please have these excepted and installed, thank you, Scott.
