Gravenhurst man arrested for impaired boating

Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a concern from a member of the public about a boater who was possibly impaired at the wharf in Gravenhurst, ON on June 20, 2021 at 9:10 p.m. Police located the boater and subsequently arrested and charged 61 year-old Bradley BINDER of Gravenhurst, ON with Impaired Operation CC 320.14(1)(a) and Over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b). He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 20, 2021 to answer to his charges.

The penalty for impaired operation of a vessel is the same as when operating a motor vehicle and therefore this operator had his driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.
