Gravenhurst man racks up tenth probation breach

A Gravenhurst man was back in court recently to plead guilty after stealing from a local grocery store.

Patrick Linck, 48, pleaded guilty to his tenth breach of probation.

Court heard Aug. 8, 2024, Linck was recognized by a loss prevention officer at a grocery store in Gravenhurst. The officer watched as Linck left the store with $178 of merchandise which he had not paid for. When the loss prevention officer attempted to stop Linck, he dropped the bag and ran down the street but was ultimately apprehended.

He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, served in pre-trial custody, and 12 months probation.

    Put him on probation for a breach of probation. Wow, I will bet he learned his lesson.
