Gravenhurst man steals Hennessy, hanging plants

A Gravenhurst man appeared in court recently to plead guilty to a range of offences.

Aurel Wink, 43, pled guilty to theft from the LCBO and Canadian Tire, assault and breaching court orders.

Court heard that on March 6, 2023, the police were called by members of the OPP to report the theft of a bottle of Hennesey. The thief was identified as Wink via CCTV. On the same day, Wink was caught stealing hanging flowers baskets and soil, a knife set and gloves from Canadian Tire. 

Court heard Wink has a criminal record.

He was sentenced to 60 days of house arrest and 12 months probation.
