Rotary Clubs across Ontario, including Bracebridge – Muskoka Lakes, have announced the first Great Ontario Fishing Raffle with more than $100,000 in prizes available to be won.

The online raffle, organized by the Barrie Club and supported by Rotary Clubs across District 7010, currently has tickets available to purchase. Ticket sales will end on June 24 with the grand prize draw on June 25. Each participating club will use the funds raised to support local charities and programs.

Rotary’s Great Ontario Fishing Raffle offers the grand prize of a Legend X20 boat with 150 XL Pro XS motor and drive-on trailer (approx. retail value $85,000); and a second prize of two (2), one-week fishing adventures for two (2) at a couple of Ontario’s popular resorts, Mar Mac Lodge and Vance’s Resort (approx. retail value $10,000). The early bird prize of a Swift Canadian Dream Prospector 16 canoe with Kevlar/Fusion package (approx. retail value $5,000) was drawn on May 7.

Tickets are available for $30 individually, or four for $100 at greatrotaryraffle.ca. Ticket sales end at noon on June 24 for the Grand Prize draw.

Proceeds proportionate to ticket sales will go to participating Rotary Clubs of Rotary District 7010, which includes Bracebridge – Muskoka Lakes, for charitable distribution in their Ontario communities. When purchasing tickets, you can indicate your local Rotary Club to designate your donation.

The early bird draw was held on Saturday, May 7 at Swift Canoe and Kayak in Gravenhurst. The final draw, for the grand prize and secondary prize, will be held on Saturday, June 25 at Legend Boats in Innisfil.

Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age and live in Ontario at the time of purchase. A maximum of 20,000 tickets are available and all tickets are sold online. All online raffles in Ontario are required to use location services to verify the purchaser is within the province.
