The Gryphon Boys Golf team put in a strong showing at the Muskoka-Parry Sound (MPS) tournament held this week at Muskoka Highlands Golf Links. With great weather and ideal course conditions, the team was well-represented by Andrew Lawson, Matt Lawson, and Cam Bird.
Andrew and Matt Lawson played consistent rounds, demonstrating solid teamwork and skill throughout the day. Their performances helped anchor the Gryphon presence at the competitive event.
The highlight of the tournament came from Cam Bird, who competed as an individual. Cam delivered an exceptional performance, finishing with the lowest individual male score of the day. His impressive play earned him a qualifying spot at the upcoming Georgian Bay Secondary Schools Association (GBSSA) championship in Barrie.
