Hazelwood Trail in Port Carling will be temporarily closed from Monday, September 23 to Friday, October 4, 2024, as the District of Muskoka continues work to improve the area.
The closure is necessary to complete ongoing remediation work at the nearby closed landfill location, ensuring the trail remains a safe and enjoyable space for residents and visitors.
While Hazelwood Trail is closed, community members are encouraged to explore the many other scenic routes throughout the Muskoka Lakes area.
