A Bracebridge driver was called to account In court last week for ramming another car and then chasing it to the Bracebridge OPP station.
On Tuesday Trevor Eisan, 30, Pleaded guilty in a Bracebridge courtroom on charges of impaired driving and mischief.
Court heard that on October 31, 2021 at roughly 11 pm the Bracebridge OPP received a call from a woman saying she and her daughter were being chased by another vehicle. The woman said the vehicle had rammed them at a stop sign and they were currently on their way to the OPP station while being pursued by the other vehicle.
When the two vehicles, which were both damaged, arrived at the police station, court heard that Eisan (the driver of the second car) began yelling at the victim.
Police smelled alcohol on the driver and after submitting to a breathalyzer test, Eisan registered twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
Court heard that Eisan has a previous record, which already includes a conviction for mischief and violent crime.
