Local athletes excel at Ontario Swimming Championships

It was a winning weekend in the pool for the athletes of the Muskoka Aquatic Club (MUSAC).

The club brought home a handful of medals and some amazing times as they finished 24th out of the 78 clubs in attendance.

Individual Results:

George Kierstead earned two medals – a silver in the 100m Butterfly and a bronze in the 50m Freestyle.

Mary Jibb earned a bronze medal in the 50m Freestyle.

Hayley Oke finished the meet with fantastic swims, including three top-10 finishes.

Aidan Spiers and Matt Kuusk both finished with top 20 finishes.

Owen Jibb finished with a fourth place finish in the Individual Medley, and fifth place finishes in the 200m Breaststroke and the 200 Individual Medley.
