Man banned from Rivermill Park after obscene outbursts

A judge recently ruled that a Huntsville man should be banned from River Mill Park for his poor behaviour. 

Appearing in a Bracebridge courtroom, Robert Morrison, 55, pled guilty to causing a disturbance stemming from an incident that occurred on July 12 , 2024.

Court heard that Huntsville OPP was called to a disturbance at Rivermill Park on that day.

Morrison had been in the park drinking alcohol, court heard, and approaching families shouting profanities and asking for cigarettes.

Police found Morrison visibly impaired and crawling on the ground when they arrived.

He was sentenced to 12 months probation and was banned from being in Rivermill Park for the duration of his probation.
