Summer evenings in Gravenhurst just got a whole lot more exciting with the return of the venerable Music on the Barge concert series.
The “Music on the Barge” concert series is the largest outdoor concert series north of Toronto and draws thousands of seasonal and permanent residents to the shores of Gull Lake to enjoy a great evening of musical entertainment at this unique waterfront setting.
The series was cancelled the past two years due to the pandemic.
This year’s lineup offers an eclectic mix of folk, country, rock and more. The lineup includes:
Bifocals Concert Band – Sunday, July 3 • 2:00 p.m. – Rotary Picnic Pavilion
Mystic Highway – Sunday, July 10 • 7:30 PM
Abba Magic – Sunday, July 17 • 7:30 PM
The Beckett Family- Sunday, July 24 • 7:30 PM
Grant Tingey & Hired Gun- Saturday, July 30 • 7:30 PM
The Liverpool 4 – Sunday, July 31 • 7:30 PM
Johnny Cash Tribute & Friends – Sunday, August 7 • 7:30 PM
The Good Brothers- Sunday, August 14 • 7:30 PM
Muskoka Music Festival – Sunday, August 21
Admission is by a free will offering to ensure the community tradition continues. In the event of rain or lightning, concerts will be cancelled for the safety of the audience and performers.
