Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) acknowledged the achievements of its staff at the 18th annual Board Award of Excellence ceremony held recently. This event honoured individuals whose contributions reflect the values of MAHC.
The Board of Directors presented these peer-nominated awards to recognize nominees who demonstrate excellence in areas including patient- and family-centered care, efficient resource management, and dedication to patient safety. This encompasses those who have completed significant projects or undertaken special assignments that surpass expectations.
“These awards signify more than just achievements in medicine or management; they represent leadership, compassion, and innovation,” stated Dave Uffelmann, Chair of the Board of Directors. “The important yet often overlooked acts of service are fundamental to our mission.
