Muskoka businesses enjoy the spotlight at Royal Agricultural Winter Fair

Muskoka Granola is a Bracebridge-based business that started when Heather Glumac could not find a cereal or granola made without preservatives or refined sugar, and decided to do it herself. They are one of over 50 businesses and organizations representing Northern Ontario at the 2024 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, the world’s largest combined indoor agricultural fair.

The FedNor-sponsored Northern Ontario Agri-Food Pavilion, is once again providing an important spotlight for Northern Ontario businesses on an international stage at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Since it began in 2001, the Northern Ontario Agri-Food Pavilion has helped generate nearly $20 million in exhibitor sales. The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, which sees hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, takes place in Toronto from November 1-10.

“Northern Ontario produces a treasure trove of fantastic goods and services, and the Government of Canada is proud to support the region’s growers and producers in sharing that with the rest of the world. FedNor’s investment in the Northern Ontario Agri-Food Pavilion puts a bright spotlight on our agri-food sector every year and ensures that the region has its place on the international stage provided by the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.”
