The Muskoka Lakes Fire Department is now actively accepting applications for the 2026 Volunteer Firefighter Recruit Class.
Those interested in being considered for the 2026 Recruit Training Program (starting Feb. 21) are encouraged to apply by January 11, 2026.
A recruitment information session will be held on November 10, 2025 from 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Fire Station 6 in Port Carling. Interested applicants are welcome to drop-in at anytime to tour the facilities and meet current volunteers. Families and friends are welcome to join as well.
