Playoffs Final Round:
In front of a packed gym at Gravenhurst High School, full of family, friends and fans, Family Place Restaurant and Pizza held on in a nail biting double overtime game to beat Clear Lake Brewing Company 54-51. Congratulations to Family Place Restaurant and Pizza you are the 2023/24 Muskoka Basketball League Champions!
The Boone plumbing ballers secured 3rd place by beating Fike Masonry in the consolation game. We would like to thank all the players, officials, scorekeepers, sponsors and fans for another fantastic season. Pick-up games will be played at Huntsville High School for the remainder of the school year from 8:00 to 10:00 pm. It’s free for everyone, so grab your shorts, shoes and a light and dark coloured shirt and join us for some fun on the court.
Playoffs Round 2:
The Semi Finals of the Muskoka Basketball League were played in Huntsville this Monday with Family Place Restaurant and Pizza defeating Fike Masonry 65-55 and Clear Lake Brewing Company outlasting the Boone Plumbing Ballers 61-58. The Consolation games played in Gravenhurst had the Huntsville Hurricanes beating the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 64-57 and the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder crushing the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 90-66.
Next Monday there are no games during the March break. The Finals will be on Monday March the 18th at Gravenhurst High School. Family Place will play Clear Lake for the Championship and Boone Plumbing will play Fike Masonry for 3rd place. At the Huntsville High School, Bracebridge Medical will play the Huntsville Hurricanes for 5th place and the Raptors 705 will play Rosseau Lake College for 7th place.

The first round of the playoffs are in the books, with the top four seeds all advancing. In Gravenhurst, the #2 seed Boone Plumbing Ballers outgunned the #7 seed Huntsville Hurricanes 69-59 and the #4 seed Fike Masonry edged the #5 seed Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 42-38. In Huntsville the #1 seed Family Place Restaurant and Pizza dominated the #8 seed Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 82-58 and the #3 seed Clear Lake Brewing Company outpaced the #5 seed Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 63-52. Round 2 of the Playoffs are next Monday March the 4th.
Feb. 13:
In tonight’s games from Gravenhurst ,Clear Lake Brewing Company beat Fike Masonry 56-44 and the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder won against the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 56-51. In Huntsville Family Place Restaurant and Pizza and the Huntsville Hurricanes both won by forfeit as the Boone Plumbing Ballers and the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves were unable to field a full roster at the tip off of their games. Tiebreakers were broken by head to head record or head to head +/- total from both games.
Next week is the Family day holiday and then the playoffs start on Monday February 26th.

In Week 13 action from Gravenhurst, the Boone Plumbing Ballers overwhelmed the Huntsville Hurricanes 51-38 and Family Place Restaurant and Pizza smashed the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 79-53. In Huntsville the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves beat Fike Masonry 56-49 and Clear Lake Brewing Company overcame the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 56-46.
Next week are the final games of the regular season and all have playoff seeding implications. Boone Plumbing will battle Family Place for the top seed and Clear Lake will play Fike Masonry with the winner earning the 3rd seed. Rosseau Lake will try to secure the 4th seed with a win over the Hurricanes and Bracebridge Medical looks to upset the Raptors 705 for their first win and keep the Raptors from potentially moving up to the 5th seed.
Jan 30: In Huntsville the Huntsville Hurricanes held on to defeat Clear Lake Brewing Company 81-80, and Fike Masonry outgunned the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 80-46. In Gravenhurst the Boone Plumbing Ballers beat the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 59-45, and Family Place Restaurant and Pizza Crushed the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 88-58.
Jan. 24: In week 11 of the Muskoka Basketball League, Clear Lake Brewing Company slipped by the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 70-64, Family Place Restaurant and Pizza defeated the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 73-61, Fike Masonry edged the Huntsville Hurricanes 57-56 and the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves squeaked by the Boone Plumbing Ballers 49-45.
Jan. 9: Muskoka Basketball is back from the Holidays. In Huntsville Family Place Restaurant and Pizza cooked Fike Masonry 68-44 and the Huntsville Hurricanes blew past the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 93-77. In Gravenhurst the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves feasted on the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 54-37 and Clear Lake Brewing Company smashed the Boone Plumbing Ballers 85-68
Dec. 19: Week 9 results from the Muskoka Basketball League are in. From Gravenhurst, the Boone Plumbing Ballers overcame Fike Masonry 75-67 and the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves smashed the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 74-60. In Huntsville, the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial beat the Huntsville Hurricanes 71-63 and Clear lake Brewing Company trampled Family Place Restaurant and Pizza 71-58.
Dec. 12: In this week’s games from the Muskoka Basketball League in Gravenhurst, Family Place Restaurant and Pizza outlasted the Huntsville Hurricanes 60-56 and Fike Masonry squeaked by the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 46-42. In Huntsville, the Boone Plumbing Ballers thumped the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 106-69 and Clear Lake Brewing Company held off the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 64-53.
Dec. 5: In week 7 action from the Muskoka Basketball League, the Huntsville Hurricanes outpaced the Boone Plumbing Ballers 62-50, Family Place Restaurant and Pizza edged the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 70-66, Clear Lake Brewing Company bounced the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 62-33 and Fike Masonry hammered the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 62-40.
Nov. 21: Here are the results from week 6, on the hardwood courts of the Muskoka Basketball League. In Gravenhurst, the Boone Plumbing Ballers dominated Clear lake Brewing company 73-35 and Family Place Restaurant and Pizza crushed the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 60-44. In Huntsville, the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial squeaked by the Huntsville Hurricanes 74-70 and Fike Masonry held off the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 65-59.
Nov. 14: Here are the results in week 5 action from the Muskoka Basketball League. In Gravenhurst, Fike Masonry beat the Huntsville Hurricanes 45-37 and the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial smashed the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 62-38. In Huntsville, the Boone Plumbing Ballers overwhelmed the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 73-45 and Family Place Restaurant and Pizza thumped Clear Lake Brewing Company 62-46.
Nov. 7: In week 4 action of the Muskoka Basketball League, in Huntsville, the Boone Plumbing Ballers wrenched up the defence and won 82-67 and Clear Lake Brewing Company poured it on in a win against the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 78-59. In Gravenhurst, the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial’s defence paid good dividends in a win over Fike Masonry 59-36 and The Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves feasted on the Huntsville Hurricanes 59-36.
Oct. 31: In week 3 action of the Muskoka Basketball League, in Huntsville the Huntsville Hurricanes overcame the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 94-87, and Fike Masonry came up short against Family Place Restaurant and Pizza 57-39.
In Gravenhurst the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves overwhelmed Clear Lake Brewing Company 55-45, and the Boone Plumbing Ballers held off the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 86-80.
Oct. 24: Week 2 of action from the Muskoka Basketball League resumed on the hardwood courts in Muskoka on Monday night.
In Gravenhurst the Boone Plumbing Ballers thumped Fike Masonry 66-48 and the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves bounced the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 69-62. In Huntsville, the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial beat Family Place Restaurant and Pizza 76-66 and the Huntsville Hurricanes held off Clear Lake Brewing Company 54-43
Oct. 17: Basketball is back in Muskoka and we have expanded to eight teams this year.
On the court in Huntsville, Family Place Restaurant and Pizza topped the Huntsville Hurricanes 73-59 and the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial outlasted the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 68-58.
From the gym in Gravenhurst, Fike Masonry hammered Clear Lake Brewing Company 48-36 and the Boone Plumbing Ballers outgunned the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 94-83.
