New wheelchair and more thanks to Lions Club of Bracebridge

The Lions Club of Bracebridge presented a cheque for $6,000  to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation to support the purchase of a wheelchair and other  urgent equipment needs.

“We’re so grateful to the club for its commitment to quality care,” says Foundation Executive  Director Leah Walker, “they are helping to improve patient outcomes.”

The service club has been supporting the Foundation for more than two decades, donating over  $176k in total towards high-quality health care.

“Lions are here to give back to the community,” says Bracebridge Lions Club President, Scott  McFarlane. To learn more about the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, please visit www.healthmuskoka.ca.
