After a pandemic hiatus, the North American Cup is once again back on the ice and back in Gravenhurst.
On Feb, 25, 26 and 27 the 13th edition outdoor pond hockey tournament will be held at the Gravenhurst Wharf.
The North American Cup is a three-day round-robin tournament with players outdoors on Lake Muskoka playing simultaneously on more than a dozen rinks.
Teams compete in a four-on-four format, across five different divisions in a bid to lift the North American Cup. Registration is already completely full in the men’s competitive, men’s 50+ and women’s divisions but some space remains in the men’s rec and men’s over 35 + division.
Organizers promise this year’s edition will feature a huge kickoff celebration with a “massive” indoor beer tent all weekend at Boston Pizza with live entertainment and a pub crawl bus.
