The Bracebridge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the assistance of the public to identify the suspect(s) responsible for several incidents of mischief at Anne Williams Memorial Park in the Town of Bracebridge.

On June 2, 2022, a mischief was reported to police where numerous surfaces at Anne William Memorial Park were damaged and spray painted. There have been several incidents of graffiti over the past three weeks at the Park. The Bracebridge OPP is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible.

“Although tagging may be viewed as little more than an unsightly nuisance to some, it cost property owners and tax payers dearly. I encourage anyone with information on this, or any other crime to come forward. Your information will be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly by the Bracebridge OPP members”. – Inspector Jason Nickle, Detachment Commander

The Bracebridge OPP is committed to public safety, delivering proactive and innovative policing in partnership with our communities. Officers value your contribution to building safe communities. Anyone with information regarding these incidents, are asked to contact the Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). When you contact Crime Stoppers you remain anonymous, you will never have to testify and you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000. Tips may also be provided through the Crime Stopper’s website by visiting https://ontariocrimestoppers.ca/.
