It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our father Bob/Robert Harvey Taylor who left us on Sunday, December 22nd, 2024, at the South Muskoka Hospital in Bracebridge at the age of 96. Predeceased by his treasured spouse (Florence) Yvonne. Beloved father to Leslie Anne Wilford (David), Bob/Robert James (Joyce), Leonard Patrick (Ruth) and Kelly Diane Merrick (Kevin). Special grandfather to his many grandchildren… Adrienne (Wil), James (Thomas), Adele, and Jason, Nathan (Lindsay), Amy (Kevin), Mathew (Meryl), Nina (Cory), Leona (Kayle), Duffy (Koa), Jeremiah (Melissa), Jacob (Maya) and Avery. Dear Great grandfather to many wonderful kids… Oliver, Talia, Raylynn, Hewey, Manoah, Preston, Ellsie, Landon, Declan, Paeto, Amarina, Sage, Noah and Theo. Bob is predeceased by his sisters-in-law, Joan (Ken MacLean) and Margaret (Ted Lehman). Survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Many of his friends awaited his arrival.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Muskoka Highlands Golf Course in Bracebridge on Saturday, March 15th from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Memorial donations to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or Muskoka Ontario SPCA.
