The temporary fee waiver for storm-related chippable wood and brush at transfer stations will end on May 31, 2025.
Residents are encouraged to bring any remaining storm-related wood and brush debris to their nearest transfer station before this date.
According to the District of Muskoka, the fee waiver began on April 1, 2025, and since that time, nearly 8,000 tonnes of materials have been received. The material will be turned into wood chips, available to residents for free starting Monday, May 26 at the Rosewarne Landfill and Beiers and Eveleigh transfer stations.
