From the Town of Bracebridge:
Mayor Maloney was joined by members of Council, the Bracebridge 150 Advisory Committee and Town staff to raise the Bracebridge 150 flag at the Municipal Office to kick off a milestone year as the town celebrates its 150-year anniversary.
To further highlight the celebratory year, new Bracebridge-150 banners were installed throughout the Downtown this week in partnership with the Downtown Bracebridge BIA. The banners showcase the celebratory logo and icons and will be in place for the year.
Join in on the anniversary celebration this weekend. The Fire and Ice Festival take place on Saturday, January 25 and will feature a paint-by-numbers community mural hosted by the Downtown Bracebridge BIA. Community members can visit the Annex to contribute to painting a section of the mural. Also taking place on Saturday, Muskoka Arts and Crafts will launch a new exhibit which celebrates the anniversary year and town history. Both of these events were proudly supported by the Town’s Bracebridge 150 Event Grant.
