On Friday May 6, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received two traffic complaints from members of the public about a vehicle travelling on Farquhar Street in Gravenhurst. Officers located the vehicle at the end of Lorne Street and after an investigation arrested and charged 33 year-old Shannan GREEN of Gravenhurst with Possession of Schedule I (Cocaine) for the Purpose of Trafficking CDSA 5(2) and two counts of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose CC 88.
A second involved person, 39 year-old Dwayne CLODD of Gravenhurst, was also charged with Possession of Schedule I (Cocaine) for the Purpose of Trafficking CDSA 5(2) and Occupant of a Motor Vehicle knowing there was a prohibited or restricted weapon CC 94.
Each accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge, ON on June 21, 2022 to answer to their charges.
