Two-year driving ban for impaired driver

Another impaired Muskoka driver had his day in court recently.

Jason Bradford, 51, of Gravenhurst pled guilty in a Bracebridge courtroom to driving with over 80 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood in his system.

Court heard that on Friday February 7, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., Bracebridge OPP officers attended an address on Lorne Street in Gravenhurst while following up on an investigation, when a vehicle pulled into the driveway. Officers spoke with the driver, Bradford, and subsequently arrested and charged him with Operation while Impaired and Over 80.

Readings came back with 188 mg of alcohol, more than double the legal limit.

Court heard Bradford has a previous criminal record.

He was fined $2,500 and banned from diving for two years.
